My friend Shauna and I met while she was woring for HemaCare and I was working for HOPE worldwide Los Angeles. Along with our mutual friend Allison, instantly fell in love with one anothers personalities and vision to inspire, help and encourage others.

Sometime after the friendship began both Shauna and I transition out of our positions. I knew of some friends who had recently started working for the Orange County American Cancer Society (ACS). I then recieved a call from one of them stating that Shauna recommended me to be the Anaheim Chair for the ACS Relay For Life event held in Orange County, California.

I am finishing my 2-year committment this year at Servite High School and grateful for the experience to serve the Anaheim community, cancer survivors and all other who are touched by the disease.
