Rissa Ennis is a 39 year-old, native Southern California girl, born and raised in Oceanside. Having no initial health related issues with herself or in her family, and being the youngest amongst six siblings, there had never seemed to be a threat when it came to health and wellness.
She is known for having a zest for life particularly in athletics, art, music and benevolent programs. Along with her new found faith in God after her high school years, she did not realize that these combined disciplines would become the foundational substance for her future wellness.
Early on, Rissa had the opportunity to intern as a national youth mentor and assist in managing a national health program communicated though art, music and theatre for inner-city youth. She taught the first three levels of gymnastics for Newhope Academy in Orange County and worked as the Publicity Director for National Junior Basketball. By the age of 30, her father died of Salivary Cancer which caused her to think about the future health of her and her loved ones. Regardless of the unknown, she organized a Singles Corps to India through HOPE Foundation India serving a children’s AIDS home and school, a leprosy colony, tuberculosis patients, a local orphanage, and the local computer and women’s centers. When she returned home she found that a friend, who was going through dialysis 10 hours per day, still did not have a match for donation. Rissa underwent the tests, was a perfect match, then began the process and within months her friend had his life back. Within the next five years, in unrelated health events, Rissa was diagnosed with Breast Cancer twice, in which she currently just finished her treatments. The up note was that she married her college best friend Eric who has been and continues to be a significant role in her wellness and healing.
During her first round of cancer she organized a national youth service program, through HOPE worldwide, which implements courses that encourage youth to make healthy choices though abstinence. During her second bout with cancer she designed and implemented a successful family mentoring program in the Santa Ana Unified School District in Orange County with specific focus on diabetes, music, exercise, healthy food habits with emphasis on family support. Rissa was also instrumental on planning educational Health Fair’s and Carnival’s for inner-city youth on national service days partnering with the Corporation for National and Community Service, as well as academic and fitness mentoring programs in the Los Angeles Unified School District. After she finished her main treatments from the second bout of cancer, she celebrated by
participating in the Santa Barbara Sprint Triathlon and amazingly did not come in last!
Rissa Ennis has her Bachelors of Art from California State University Fullerton. She has facilitated and taught addiction classes for 8 years, been involved with peer-to-peer mentoring and training for 20 years with 6 of those years including youth peer mentoring and training, guest service and customer service training for 12 years with 2 years of added management advisement, marriage and pre-marital counseling for 6 years, guest speaker at a myriad of events and retreats regarding spiritual, meditation and health content for 10 years, and has also been a regional, national and global speaker
on the fundamentals of mentoring and program development. In Rissa’s 10 years of event planning, she has found that relationships with Southern California hotels and centers allows her to find the most creative and cost-effective ways to plan events. With this experience, along with the partnership of 25-year friend Diana Telles who is a licensed and certified massage therapist and attaining her Bachelors of Science with emphasis in Nutrition, along with her staff and partners, Rissa feels confident of the care and services that RED Concept will provide. In addition to her extensive background, Rissa has been a patient for almost a third of her life. Trying to balance the
physical limitations, medical advice, healthy food choices, and various ways of healing with in diverse situations, she has
firsthand experience with dealing with health and wellness. She also has had reconstructive surgery on her left knee from basketball and recently had shoulder surgery from softball.
Rissa’s Philanthropic adventures include being the Volunteer Event Chair for the American Cancer Society, Relay For Life, member of the City of Anaheim D.E.V.O.T.E. program: Dedicated Employees Volunteer Opportunities Time and Energy, and she is a Board Member of the Anaheim Sister Cities youth program partnering with Mito, Japan. She also has volunteered for over 12 years with HOPE worldwide, ltd. serving in environmental, family, health and disaster relief programs. As you can see, her zeal for life, happiness, health and wellness is ongoing and effervescent!

About The B2B People
The B2B People started off with some friends looking for different networking group. Many of us spend a lot of time with traditional network groups, meeting with the same people, and talking about the same things. But from the first meeting we knew we could do more.
I wanted a group that would promote the people and not the group. I also wanted to be forward thinking and use the Internet to promote who we are 24/7 and make the meetings inspiring and motivational about what each of us do. I wanted everyone to share experiences in business so that we could help each other grow. The initial response was overwhelming and I knew it had to happen on a regular basis!
It seems that many of us have lost faith in doing proper business amongst our own communities. The B2B People network is very powerful due to the fact that it has encouraged the support of business people with ideas on how to grow their business.
The B2B People goal is to bring knowledge about each other's business, good communication, as well as to promote integrity based businesses in our communities and then around the world. I invite you to join The B2B People and let us share with one another our business savvy ideals on how to bring good business practices to build up our communities.
Others have already started froming their own Network group using the same concept.

B2B Video of the Week
The purpose of the B2B Initiative is not just to connect people but to facilitate the collaboration between single entrepreneurs and businesses. The idea of meetings to network and connect in the traditional way is to meet and shake hands. We will go one step forward and provide a tool to organize entrepreneurs and businesses into groups or virtual villages that can be networked and marketed. This virtual collaboration will become the new way to shake hands and the universal B2B way to do business globally.
